Children and Preschool ministry at First Baptist Tulsa seeks to create a safe space for children to experience the love of God and the truth of the Gospel.

Engaging Children Through Dynamic Learning Experiences

Our Sunday School programs cater to children from infants to fifth grade, providing a safe and engaging environment. Each age group follows a tailored curriculum that emphasizes biblical teachings through interactive activities and crafts. Key activities include storytelling, music, and group games that foster both faith and friendships.

NEWBORN–5TH GRADE
SUNDAYS 9:45AM

Sunday School is an hour of creative teaching, biblical stories, and hands-on learning at an early age to begin building a foundation for faith. The 1st–5th grade classes use the Gospel Project curriculum and Birth–Kindergarten use Bible Studies for Life
Bonus Teaching Hour

NEWBORN–3 YEARS OLD
SUNDAYS 8:30AM & 11AM

BTH (Bonus Teaching Hour) involves caring for and teaching preschoolers during the worship services. It’s an extension of the Bible emphasis during the Sunday School hour which allows preschoolers to continue learning spiritual concepts through purposeful play.
KinderWorship

4 YEARS OLD–KINDERGARTEN
SUNDAYS 8:30AM & 11AM

KinderWorship is offered during both services, it provides a place for young children to hear Bible stories Biblical truths in a way kids understand. Each theme includes fun, exciting activities, cool music videos, Bible stories, prayer time.
Wednesdays
Music for Preschoolers

PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN
6:00–6:45PM

Preschoolers will learn music that is age-appropriate, child-centered, and Christ-honoring through songs, instruments, activities, and games.
Mission Friends

3s - Kindergarten (as of Aug. 1 of the school year)
6:45–7:30PM

Mission Friends is a mission-based program for ages three through Kindergarten. Children are introduced to the concept of mission work and missionaries around the globe. It meets on the second floor of the Children’s Building. Birth - 2 year olds will meet on the first floor.
Midweek at First KIDS

1ST–5TH GRADE
6:00-7:30PM

Kids will learn about global missions, hear a story about God’s character, and have a hands-on application through games and activities! At 6:00, your child will experience large group worship through singing and motions! Guests are welcome any Wednesday.

We desire to serve as many families as possible and allow space on Sundays for all to encounter God through Worship services with other believers. If your elementary child needs a sensory friendly space while you worship, please fill out the following form and we will contact you!

Parent Child Dedications are an expression of the parent's desire and commitment to raise Godly children. As a Church, we partner with and empower parents in that calling to help families raise God-honoring kids.
