SHOE COLLECTION | MAY COLLECTION
The FBC Caring Center is collecting new and gently used shoes in all sizes for men, women and children throughout the month of May. Please place all donations in the blue barrels marked "Shoes."

MEMORIAL DAY FOUNDATION FOR FIRST TULSA OFFERING
On May 17, May 24 and May 31 you are invited to give a special gift to the Foundation for First in honor or in memory of someone you wish to remember. The blue Memorial Day offering envelopes are available near the offering boxes. All names of those being honored will be recognized on our announcement sheet on Sunday, June 7.

Are you newly married, engaged, or close to it? We're launching a new Sunday morning Community Group just for you! This is a relaxed, welcoming space for couples to grow together and build a strong foundation for life and marriage. Topics will include communication, faith, friendship, and the everyday rhythms of life as a couple — plus the chance to connect with others in the same season of life.

This is a great opportunity for those with any early-stage memory changes and their friends to relax and enjoy refreshments, entertainment, creative projects and time with a family member or friend.  Our speaker is John Erling, founder of Voices of Oklahoma, will speak about his amazing endeavor to capture Oklahoma’s history through oral stories told by diverse people throughout the state.  John will discuss the project’s mission, talk about some of the stories he’s learned, and even will share clips of a few of his favorite recordings.  If you’ve lived in the Tulsa area for more than 20 years, you probably remember John as being the voice of KRMG radio.   For more information or to make reservations, contact the church office at 918-587-1571.
