Our goal is to share Christ through missions everywhere, from our neighborhoods to the nations.
Globally, we maintain a strong commitment to mission work and missionaries from around the world including strategic partnerships in North and Central America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. We work within our own denomination but we are also committed to missions with several partners who are working actively in places where Southern Baptists may not yet be present. For information on our mission partnerships, contact (918)594-5073.
Global Partnerships
International Mission Board (IMB)
First Baptist Tulsa generously supports the IMB through budget giving to the Cooperative Program and also through an annual Mission offering. The IMB partners with Southern Baptist churches throughout the U.S. to empower limitless missionary teams who are evangelizing, discipling, planting and multiplying healthy churches, and training leaders among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God. Thousands of missionaries serve around the world to further the Great Commission.
GoTEN
GoTEN’s strategic focus is on sharing the Good News with diaspora people immigrating to the United States and empowering these new believers to return to their homelands to catalyze disciple making movements in lands that are restricted and difficult to reach. GoTEN creates Life Skills Centers in refugee neighborhoods and partners with local churches to help our new neighbors learn English, get jobs and experience Christian community.
Global Hope Network International (GHNI)
The mission of GHNI is, “Bringing help and hope to the hidden and hurting.” Working in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, GHNI works with villages to bring sustainable solutions and transformational assistance to lift them out of poverty. They are upfront and hands-on with the refugee crisis in the Middle East, bringing much needed supplies, services and hope to families who have escaped conflict in their homelands.
Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU)
CRU is passionate about connecting people to Christ. CRU offers spiritual guidance, resources and programs tailored for people from all cultures in every walk of life through many diverse outreaches, including campus ministries, city ministries, athletic ministries, military connections and the JESUS film. They serve in many cities around the world, living out the Great Commission. Our partnership missionaries are based strategically in Washington DC, where they are intersecting with world leaders, their families and their entourages on a daily basis, looking for opportunities to share the truth of the gospel.
Horeb Ministries
Horeb Ministries, based in central Guatemala, believes God’s word has the power to change and transform lives. Through pastoral training, children’s outreach, evangelism and community development, missionaries with Horeb work in many areas of Guatemala to share the Good news.
Solid Rock
Solid Rock has a mission to preach the gospel to the rural villages of the northwest state of their South Asian country and to establish healthy, self-supporting churches in that region. Because less than 2% of the 1.25 billion population in their country worship as Christians, they have almost no recognition or support from the general population. Solid Rock seeks to build churches, provide sound biblical pastoral training and continue strengthening the body of Christ in that region.
First Love International
First Love is an interdenominational mission agency founded for the purpose of bringing the life-giving message of salvation through Jesus Christ to unreached people residing in impoverished.regions of the world. Our partnership focuses on orphan care specifically with the children’s home located outside of Manila, Philippines. The Village Children’s Home serves girls who have been rescued from horrific situations including abuse, neglect and human trafficking. The girls are loved and cared for and pointed to Christ.
